About VENT PROS

Our Mission Statement:
“To assist our clients in achieving a clean, safe, energy efficient indoor environment
through education and professional services.”

Our Process
The most effective way to clean ventilation systems is to employ source removal methods of cleaning set forth by NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association).
In most occasions, this is done by placing the system under negative air with a powerful vacuum and then inserting compressed air tools or brushes to dislodge any debris from the interior surfaces of the ductwork. Some larger systems may require hand vacuuming. In addition to the ducts, we thoroughly clean all components of the air handling unit including:
   • the fan and motor assembly
   • heat exchangers
   • evaporative coils
   • condensate pans
   • all interior surfaces.
All registers are washed and replaced.

Interior fiberglass surfaces are encapsulated with an anti-microbial coating to keep fibers from blowing out into the air stream. If mold, mildew, or other bacteria are found, all parts of the system are sanitized with oxine, an EPA registered sanitizer.

All commercial jobs are supervised by a NADCA certified ASCS (air systems cleaning specialist).

VENT PROS' goal is to improve the quality of indoor air. We utilize our expertise to bring about a cleaner, healthier indoor environment where occupants feel good about the air they breathe and are more productive because of it. In the duct cleaning business, there are many companies that do not do a very thorough job. Some hook up a big vacuum to the system without agitating the dirt; others only hand vacuum in the ducts as far as they can reach. Most do not clean the furnace or air handling unit thoroughly. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association refers to those companies as "Blow and Go" companies and some are being sued for fraud. VENT PROS' policy is to clean each system as thoroughly as possible, not only to comply with the NADCA standards, but also give our clients the desired result...Better Indoor Air.
